HOW TO CALCULATE
1. Measure your walls width & height. Separate the measurement and calculate this way:-FIRST STEP
FOR HOW MANY PIECES YOU ARE GOING TO USE
- Example:
Width: 15feet X 12 [to convert it to inches]
then, 180 inches divided by 21 inches [width size of the wallpapers]
= 8.571 [ that means you need 9pcs to cover the space of 15ft]
Note: When calculating the pieces, even 0.1 need to be counted as 1 piece. i.e. if total sum is 2.1, you need 3 pieces of the wallpapers.
SECOND STEP
FOR HOW MANY ROLLS OF WALLPAPERS YOU NEED TO BUY
- Example:
Height : 9 feet
Repeat Pattern of Design: 1.5 feet
TOTAL FEET: 10.5 feet
EACH ROLLS COME IN 33FEET LENGTH, WHICH MEANS WE ONLY HAVE 11 FEET FOR EACH PIECE TO MAXIMIZE THE USAGE.
33ft divided by 3 pcs = 11ft each piece
Total Pieces: 9 pcs [which we have calculated earlier]
then, 9 pcs divided by 3pcs/roll [which after we sum the height & repeat pattern; i.e. 9ft + 1.5ft = 10.5ft < 11ft/pc]
= 3 ROLLS
Note: When buying wallpapers rolls, advisable to buy extra of 1 rolls, due to rectification purpose. Just in case, if they're discontinued)
